What you will do

• Oversee the monthly close process for assigned areas, ensuring accurate recording of gross profit and balance sheet movements.
• Provide direct oversight and coaching to 2–3 team members to elevate their technical skills and performance.
• Drive improvements in account reconciliation and close processes through ARCS optimization and enhanced analysis.
• Perform first-level review of journal entries, account analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to existing accounting policies and contribute to the development of new procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years of people management.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial close processes.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry review, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work on-site in Atlanta, Georgia.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with reconciliation or close management tools.
