TL;DR

What you will do

• Own full-cycle accounting operations for up to 30 U.S.-based client accounts.
• Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and financial reviews.
• Analyze financial trends and present actionable insights to clients during recurring meetings.
• Review and oversee accounting workflows completed by junior team members.
• Act as a primary escalation point for complex accounting issues and clean-up projects.
• Drive operational excellence by improving internal processes and system adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in multi-client or service-based environments.
• Proven experience working with U.S.-based clients and GAAP principles.
• Must be able to fully overlap with 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience managing high-volume client portfolios and overseeing junior staff.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with Karbon, Bill.com, and modern payroll platforms.
