What you will do

• Architect and design high-power AC and DC systems for consumer and commercial EV chargers.
• Develop advanced soft switching 40-100 kW multi-level converters and 100-200 kW four-quadrant grid tie inverters.
• Manage full product design: modeling, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, magnetics, and thermal design.
• Implement power topologies including LLC, phase shifted full bridge, flyback, forward, and PFC techniques.
• Perform design modeling using PLECS, MATLAB, and Spice, utilizing FPGAs, PLDs, and DSP digital control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve architectural issues and ensure product reliability under stress.

Requirements

• M.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering (PhD desired).
• 10+ years of experience in bringing power electronics products to market.
• Proven expertise in designing AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
• Ability to drive solutions across software, mechanical, power, and thermal boundaries.
• Strong understanding of system-level engineering tradeoffs and industry standards.
• Must be based in Campbell, CA.
