What you will do

• Assist with DER board power-up, testing, and debugging.
• Capture and analyze electrical waveforms using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and probes.
• Support surge testing activities, including setup preparation, execution, and result documentation.
• Assist with EMC testing, including radiated and conducted emissions pre-compliance testing.
• Support ESD testing setup and evaluation to assess board-level robustness.
• Identify anomalies in test results and support root-cause investigation under supervision.

Requirements

• Currently a 3rd year college undergraduate or in an MS/PhD program.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and completion of a basic circuit analysis course.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in California, USA

Nice to have

• Strong foundational knowledge of electronic circuits.
• Experience measuring the effectiveness of AI tools in projects.
