What you will do

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle from solicitation release through submission, ensuring all deliverables are on time.
• Write and shape technical, management, and past performance content, translating complex concepts into evaluator-friendly language.
• Build compliance matrices and run structured color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) to ensure high-quality responses.
• Stand up proposal infrastructure, including templates, workflows, and a reusable content library.
• Collaborate with executives, capture, and engineering teams to structure and communicate opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement by leading post-submission reviews to refine future proposal strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading federal proposals end-to-end with a track record of compliant submissions.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of federal contracting.
• Strong writing ability to turn technical input into structured and persuasive content.
• Working knowledge of federal procurement (FAR/DFARS) and evaluation criteria.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in proposal management or related roles.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting proposals in AI/ML, cloud, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps environments.
• APMP certification (Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional).
• Experience with tools such as GovWin, SharePoint, or Google Workspace.
• Active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
• Ability to communicate ideas visually via diagrams and workflows.
