What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a dedicated sustaining engineering software team.
• Define and manage escalation paths for urgent customer-facing issues.
• Own the implementation and release of critical production software bug fixes and security patches.
• Maintain high technical familiarity and code quality across all product codebases.
• Ensure all software maintenance releases adhere to the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Collaborate with Platform and Product teams to integrate fixes into the main development branch.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Kennewick, WA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering management or a high-level technical leadership role.
• Technical proficiency in C#, SQL, and desktop software development.
• Strong background in troubleshooting complex, multi-component software systems.

• Experience working in a regulated environment, specifically within medical device software or other safety-focused industries.
