What you will do
- Lead industrial facility audits, define project scopes, and develop high-level engineering concepts and cost estimates.
- Oversee MV and LV electrical power system designs, including equipment selection and grounding strategies.
- Architect and validate DCS and PLC/HMI control logic strategies and instrumentation standards.
- Provide advanced protection and control system design, including coordination studies and integration strategies.
- Lead and supervise commissioning efforts, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring successful system handover.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee the preparation of tender and construction packages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Must be registered as a P.Eng. in British Columbia.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Practical knowledge of North American standards.
- Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (5-20%).

- Consulting engineering experience.
- Experience in mining or chemical industries.
- Site audit, construction, and start-up experience.
