What you will do

• Lead the evolution of grafana.com into an AI-first, agent-ready platform optimized for humans and LLMs.
• Own the web platform's stability, security, and performance, defining standards for reliability and security hygiene.
• Improve delivery predictability by optimizing roadmaps and using AI-assisted workflows to reduce overhead.
• Partner with marketing and product teams to create seamless user journeys from visit to product activation.
• Scale self-serve web operations through strong CMS models and reusable UX patterns.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of web developers, raising technical standards and AI-first practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Experience leading web engineering teams and building scalable, high-performing web platforms.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend engineering, CMS-driven websites, and AI-enabled digital experiences.
• Technical proficiency with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Storyblok, and Vercel.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical plans and priorities.
• Strong operational mindset with a focus on measurable impact across reliability and content velocity.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AEO, GEO, SEO, and structured content for AI assistants.
• Experience supporting developer, infrastructure, or open-source audiences.
