It Helpdesk Technician (Aerospace)

Salary: $28 – $43 per hour + equity

What you will do

• Build, image, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems for new hires and hardware refresh cycles.
• Run and terminate structured cabling for workstations, access points, IP cameras, and other networked devices.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room AV systems including displays, video conferencing equipment, cameras, and speakers.
• Perform physical rack installation of networking and server equipment; maintain clean and organized server rooms and IDF/MDF closets.
• Respond to on-site IT support requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Document completed work, cable maps, and equipment configurations clearly and consistently.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a hands-on IT support or field technician role.
• Demonstrated experience building and imaging Windows PCs and Macs and deploying them in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling standards and experience running, terminating, and testing Cat6/Cat6A cable.
• Solid understanding of networking basics — switches, patch panels, VLANs, Wi-Fi access points, and PoE devices.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, MacOS, and common business applications.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Iru and Intune MDM experience is a plus.
