Housing Officer (Asb)

TL;DR

Housing Officer (ASB): Managing and resolving anti-social behaviour cases to ensure the well-being of residents with an accent on conflict resolution and community engagement. Focus on investigating ASB complaints, liaising with authorities, and conducting estate inspections to address potential ASB hotspots.

Location: This position is a front line role and is not remote working. You will therefore be required to be in the office or on site daily.

Salary: £38,058- £41,442pa

What you will do

• Investigate and manage ASB complaints in line with policies and procedures.
• Liaise with residents, local authorities, and external agencies to resolve ASB issues.
• Conduct regular estate inspections to identify and address potential ASB hotspots.
• Maintain accurate records of ASB cases and actions taken.
• Provide support and guidance to residents affected by ASB.

Requirements

• Previous experience in ASB or housing management is essential.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in ASB management.
• Must have a full UK driving license and have a vehicle to use for work.

Nice to have

• A degree or housing qualification, such as CIH, is preferable, but not essential.
