TL;DR

Country Lead Germany (DACH): Own the Germany country strategy and P&L, driving topline growth through localized go-to-market execution and external partnerships. Focus on leading a commercial team, steering performance via WBR/QBR data reviews, and ensuring a consistently high customer experience for tenants and landlords.

Location: Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands (hybrid: 2 office days). Flexibility to work remotely in another country than the Netherlands for up to 2 months per year.

What you will do

• Own the country strategy and P&L, translating global goals into local execution plans with clear KPIs and targets.
• Drive topline growth via localized go-to-market strategies, including supply acquisition, university partnerships, marketing effectiveness, and operational performance.
• Lead and inspire the local commercial team, ensuring accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and steer performance using data-driven decision-making with weekly and quarterly business reviews (WBR/QBR).
• Partner with global functional heads (Marketing, Product & Engineering, Finance, People) to adapt global playbooks for regional execution excellence.
• Represent hirify.global externally with key partners (universities, property operators, institutional landlords) and champion a high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience leading business units or regional operations in a high-growth marketplace or platform company.
• Comfort with data-driven management, analytical dashboards, and forecasting.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets with P&L responsibility.
• Strong ability to build trust, motivate teams, and foster accountability and high performance.
• Multilingual skills: English and German required.
