What you will do

  • Establish and develop relationships with carriers via phone and email to secure capacity for freight lanes.
  • Negotiate rates and ensure high service levels for on-time pickup and delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively handle issues such as rescheduling and detention.
  • Manage carrier profiles and maintain accurate data within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Develop expertise in spot market pricing and freight network dynamics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet financial and performance goals.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • Minimum 1-2+ years of professional experience in sales or cold calling.
  • Proven track and trace experience in a logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work the scheduled shift: Wednesday-Sunday 4:00pm-12:00am CST.

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
