What you will do

• Design and evaluate AI infrastructure architecture, including rapid prototyping to validate assumptions.
• Explore, benchmark, and integrate AI/ML tools and technologies for production-ready solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services for real-time AI/ML inference, model deployment, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to bring AI/ML models into production and optimize performance.
• Own system reliability and operational excellence: performance tuning, observability, and incident management.
• Continuously grow skills through knowledge sharing and industry events.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend or platform development.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems, including understanding model behavior, performance, and constraints.
• Experience building AI agents/components (e.g., memory, context engineering, retrieval, orchestration).
• Experience building distributed systems at scale with performance tuning, observability, and reliability best practices.
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and deploying to cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
