What you will do

• Research and analyze high-complexity tax issues to inform software development.
• Evaluate product features and contribute to roadmaps, epics, and user stories.
• Coordinate prioritization across teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop technical standards for tax content and document best practices.
• Estimate and sequence team activities for sprint planning and project roadmaps.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex tax compliance challenges.

Requirements

• Must be based in Toronto or Ontario, Canada
• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of Canadian tax law and experience with T1/TP-1 returns.
• Strong background in tax research, analysis, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software.

• Experience using TaxCycle, TaxPrep, or ProFile.
