What you will do

• Establish and maintain configuration management (CM) processes and policies aligned with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Manage product structures and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within SAP and Arena PLM systems.
• Control configurations for all drone variants, including military, commercial, and FPV platforms.
• Lead configuration identification, status accounting, and audits for UAS programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure configuration consistency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of hardware, software, and firmware baselines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of configuration management experience in aerospace, defense, or UAS industries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP) and Arena PLM.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, revision control, and change management processes.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (no sponsorship provided due to ITAR/EAR restrictions).
• Experience with configuration audits and compliance standards (AS9100, MIL-STD-973, or similar).

Nice to have

• Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMPIC).
• Experience working in regulated environments such as FAA or DoD.
• Knowledge of software configuration management tools like Git or SVN.
• Experience with digital thread or digital twin concepts.
