What you will do

• Deliver complex financial restructuring solutions to debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders facing liquidity or performance issues.
• Manage the end-to-end engagement process, including structuring approach, scope, budget, and delivery.
• Lead business development activities, including formal pitches, thought leadership, and client relationship building.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, addressing project challenges and supporting professional growth.
• Collaborate with Managing Directors to form strategic views and produce substantial client deliverables.

Requirements

• Native Spanish and fluent English proficiency.
• Must be based in or able to work from Madrid, Spain (Hybrid).
• Relevant experience in Restructuring/Turnaround Corporate Finance within a leading advisory firm, investment bank, or major corporation.
• Proven track record in business development and revenue generation.
• Strong financial modeling skills, specifically in M&A, debt, and equity financing.
• Experience managing teams and drafting professional reports for senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in leveraged finance, structured finance, or a Big-4 financial advisory focus.
• Experience in corporate functions such as Treasury, Controlling, or Investor Relations.
• Strong personal relationship network within the Spanish restructuring market.
