What you will do

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
• Mentor and develop a team of Corporate Accountants through performance reviews and career planning.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual financial audits at consolidated and subsidiary levels.
• Drive the implementation of new accounting processes, systems, and standards like IFRS 18.
• Identify and implement efficiency gains through automation, AI, and process redesign.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A and Financial Reporting teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role or public accounting (audit).
• CPA designation.
• B.Comm in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in both English and French.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and IFRS.
• Experience with complex technical accounting (e.g., leases, commission capitalization).

• Experience with NetSuite.
• Knowledge of SOX reporting.
