Financial Accountant (Statutory & Technical Reporting)

TL;DR

Financial Accountant (Statutory & Technical Reporting): Support accurate, clear and timely financial reporting across balance sheet, cash flow and P&L with an accent on statutory reporting, compliance and IFRS to US GAAP translation. Focus on reviewing accounting records, building reconciliations, preparing regulatory filings and supporting audits in a multinational US-listed group.

Location: St Helier, Jersey (Full-time onsite)

What you will do

• Review and validate accounting records across the balance sheet for accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain reconciliations, working papers and reporting schedules.
• Support cash flow monitoring, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
• Oversee quality of financial outputs and assist with regulatory filings and statutory submissions.
• Reconcile and translate financial information from IFRS to US GAAP.
• Contribute to audits, external reporting and process improvements for better controls.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
• 3–5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally with statutory reporting, audit or technical accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with financial statements, reconciliations or statutory outputs.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
