What you will do

• Manage daily bookkeeping using Xero and Pleo, including transaction coding and invoice processing.
• Transition bank reconciliations from weekly to daily to achieve a t+1 timeline.
• Handle expense categorization for high transaction volumes via Pleo.
• Prepare month-end journals to support fast and reliable financial closing.
• Collaborate with the FinOps lead on invoicing and vendor relationship management.
• Coordinate with external accountants for onboarding and review.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with cloud accounting software, preferably Xero.
• Experience with expense management tools like Pleo or Spendesk.
• Proven ability to process high volumes of transactions and handle complex reconciliation data.
• Must be based in the UK to support the hybrid work format.
• Experience in fintech, marketplaces, or payments is a strong plus.

Nice to have

• AAT or equivalent qualification.
