What you will do

• Conduct KYC/KYB reviews and prepare onboarding recommendations for complex cases.
• Monitor transactions and clear sanctions screening alerts within defined SLAs.
• Support Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and document case decisions clearly.
• Draft SAR/STR write-ups and escalate potential financial-crime typologies.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Ops teams to embed compliance into business processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments in North America, Africa, and Europe to provide practical guidance.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in compliance, AML, or related fintech/banking roles.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Hands-on experience with KYB, transaction monitoring, or customer due diligence.
• Foundational understanding of UK AML/KYC obligations and familiarity with FCA rules.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Paris, Abidjan, Dakar, or London.
• Natural AI user with a focus on finding smarter, faster ways to work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Canadian regulatory requirements (FINTRAC).
• Exposure to African markets.
