What you will do

• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted partner for Corporate Tax business leaders.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of tax technology solutions.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into functional specifications for system enhancements.
• Manage data flow integrations between upstream and downstream accounting systems.
• Maintain a long-term lifecycle plan for system maintenance and compliance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, and QA teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Boston, MA.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in business systems within the Life Sciences industry.
• Proven experience configuring ERP solutions like Oracle E-Business Suite or SAP for tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of project management, solution design, and Agile methodology.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Coupa, Workiva, or OneSource Tax Provision.
• Knowledge of Alteryx Analytics and Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Experience implementing Notice-Ninja or similar tax notice management solutions.
• Familiarity with AI capabilities as a differentiator in tax systems.
