What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and execution of the enterprise Data Quality platform.
• Implement an AI-first strategy using LLMs for rule generation, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis.
• Design human-in-the-loop patterns to ensure auditability and compliance in regulated environments.
• Evolve data observability capabilities, including monitoring, lineage-aware impact analysis, and issue management.
• Enable data product teams to embed quality controls directly into pipelines using standardized APIs.
• Lead technology teams and manage external service providers to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Boston, MA.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or data management.
• 3+ years leading enterprise data quality, observability, or data governance initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience building LLM-enabled data management solutions.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, pipeline architecture, and complex data ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, data, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in technology or data-related field.
• Experience in life sciences or other highly regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Anomalo, Monte Carlo, or Collibra.
