TL;DR

Director, USMA Payer Contract Operations (Biopharma): Leading the end-to-end contracting lifecycle for US market access with an accent on drafting, negotiation, and compliance to drive revenue and mitigate risk. Focus on optimizing contract operations processes, managing the iCertis system, and translating pricing strategies into executable payer contracting archetypes.

Location: Hybrid (up to 2 days remote) or On-Site in Boston, MA

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end contracting lifecycle, overseeing drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance across all franchises.
  • Direct and oversee the iCertis contract management system to track status, deadlines, and compliance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of contracting professionals.
  • Translate pricing strategy into prospective payer contracting concepts and archetypes.
  • Establish and maintain policies and documentation to support Sox compliance.
  • Collaborate with Market Access field and strategy teams on priorities, timelines, and financial models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in biopharmaceutical Market Access Contracting (specialty pharmacy, provider, and managed care).
  • Deep understanding of the US Payer Channel and Buy and Bill Reimbursement Landscape.
  • Experience securing contract access for Specialty and/or rare disease medicines.
  • Experience launching new products and indications.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint).
