What you will do

• Perform routine histology techniques including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and cryo-sectioning.
• Execute pathology staining techniques such as H&E, IHC, and special stains using automated platforms.
• Conduct whole-slide brightfield and fluorescent scanning for morphometric analysis.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with GLP-like practices.
• Author SOPs, technical documents, and ELN documentation.
• Collaborate with board-certified pathologists to review and share data with project stakeholders.

Requirements

• MS in Biological Sciences or related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant research or industry experience in a histology laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with histology, staining, and digital pathology platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Boston, MA five days per week.

Nice to have

• Prior industry experience with multiplex assays (IF, IHC, RNAscope).
• Experience with image review, annotation, and visual data analysis software.
• Familiarity with machine learning datasets or computer vision applications.
