Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 60% onsite presence required)

A mid-sized global biopharmaceutical company focusing on transformative medicines in Oncology, Rare Disease, and Neuroscience.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for Rare Disease products to maximize performance.
  • Lead long-term (5-year) strategic planning and annual operational budgeting.
  • Build relationships with clinical teams, KOLs, and patient groups to influence market access and prescribing environments.
  • Collaborate with Sales to strengthen field execution and implement training strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional brand planning processes and manage external agency partnerships.
  • Monitor ROI, conduct competitor benchmarking, and drive accurate demand forecasting.

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences or a similar field.
  • 4–7+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience specifically in brand management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a brand.
  • Must be based in London to comply with the 60% onsite hybrid policy.
  • Deep understanding of the UK healthcare environment, NHS systems, and regulatory bodies (MHRA, ABPI, SMC, AWMSG).

Nice to have

  • ABPI certification.
  • Experience in pre-launch and/or launch environments.
  • Exposure to high-cost specialist medicine markets.
  • Specific experience in Rare Disease or hepatology.
