Senior Business Intelligence Developer (Power BI)

TL;DR

Senior Business Intelligence Developer (Power BI): Developing and designing interactive reports and dashboards for the Fleet Analytics product with an accent on actionable business insights and scalability. Focus on building semantic models, integrating Databricks, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for BI products.

Location: Amsterdam (preferred), Dublin, Tampere, Turku, or Stockholm. Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU or hold a valid permit to work in the EU.

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI data products, including reports and semantic models.
• Design and deploy high-usability dashboards and reports to empower organizational decision-makers.
• Build and deliver business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Implement CI/CD, deployment automation, and version control using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate KPIs and requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Explore Microsoft Fabric capabilities and AI-driven enhancements to improve reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional work experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Power BI, including advanced knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Online Service.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and cloud-based data architecture for large datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Experience implementing structured Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
• Eligibility to work in the EU or possession of a valid EU work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Power Automate.
• Power BI or other relevant BI/database certifications.
• Proficiency in languages other than English.
