What you will do

• Gather and refine business requirements for reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Design and maintain business-focused data models and semantic layers.
• Develop data transformations using SQL and dbt.
• Build and optimize datasets for Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Define and maintain KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure high-quality, reliable, and governed data pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience designing analytical data models using Kimball methodology.
• Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure Data Lake.
• Work permit and residency within the European Union region are required.
• English: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Data Vault modelling.
• Experience supporting executive or financial reporting.
• Industry experience in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Understanding of Microsoft Purview and enterprise data governance frameworks.
