What you will do

• Produce timely research on metals markets, covering trade flows, supply/demand dynamics, and macro themes.
• Form and maintain price outlooks for metals, defending views through publications and client interactions.
• Build and maintain supply/demand balance frameworks for commodities.
• Collaborate with the data operations team to validate and enhance underlying market datasets.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences.
• Support Sales and Customer Success teams by translating complex data into clear commercial narratives.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience as a Commodity Analyst or Researcher with a focus on metals.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data modeling.
• Foundational understanding of SQL and/or Python with an appetite to automate workflows.
• Proven experience producing published market research or commentary.
• Hands-on experience with trade data, pricing series, or inventory data.
• Experience building supply/demand balance models or quantitative market frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience working with proprietary or real-time trade flow data.
• Prior involvement in data or product development alongside research.
• Established industry network or media profile within the metals sector.
