What you will do

• Own and continuously improve day-to-day pricing performance and market competitiveness.
• Analyze pricing, conversion, claims, and loss ratio data to identify growth and profitability opportunities.
• Execute pricing experiments, including elasticity testing, specifically for price comparison websites (PCWs).
• Collaborate with insurers to evaluate pricing proposals, assumptions, and rating factors.
• Develop internal pricing capabilities, including frameworks and datasets, in partnership with Data Science.
• Recommend actionable steps to improve rank and conversion within distribution channels.

Requirements

• Pricing experience in UK Home insurance or a similar general insurance product.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use conversion, loss ratio, and risk data for decision-making.
• Underwriting knowledge sufficient to challenge insurer proposals and rating factors.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data tools such as Python, Jupyter, or Looker.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a digital-first insurer, insurtech, or high-growth product-led environment.
• Experience with price comparison websites (PCWs) or price-sensitive distribution channels.
• Familiarity with insurer-led pricing discussions and underwriting concepts.
