Senior Business Analyst (ETRM): Supporting technology and process initiatives within a leading energy and commodities trading organization with an accent on middle office change and trade lifecycle visibility. Focus on translating complex business needs into data-driven solutions, managing requirements for interconnected systems, and driving the evolution toward cloud-native architectures.

Location: London (3 days per week onsite)

Salary: £80,000–£85,000 per annum + bonus

What you will do

• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to define and implement business solutions.
• Improve trade lifecycle visibility, P&L reporting, exposure reporting, and operational controls.
• Manage the full application lifecycle, including requirements definition and overseeing system enhancements.
• Facilitate workshops and prioritize enhancements with key stakeholders across the trading business.
• Support the transition of applications into cloud-native, data-centric architectures.
• Navigate the complexities of a high-volume, live trading environment to ensure system alignment.

Requirements

• Strong experience in an IT-focused environment within energy or commodities trading.
• Solid understanding of middle office processes and supporting technology landscapes.
• Proven ability to maintain an end-to-end view of complex application environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced trading organization.
• Must be able to work onsite in London 3 days per week.
