TL;DR

Senior Manager, Operations (Healthcare): Directing administrative operations and service delivery for Student Health and Wellbeing services with an accent on operational excellence, team leadership, and process optimization. Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC (Point Grey campus)

Compensation: $6,747.50 - $9,701.42 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Direct day-to-day administrative functions across multiple health service locations.
  • Manage and provide leadership to a diverse team of over 20 administrative staff.
  • Oversee annual budgets, facility maintenance, and procurement of medical equipment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead the operational maintenance of electronic health record systems and user access controls.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to monitor and improve student, staff, and provider experiences.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience (five years preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and foster respectful working environments.
  • Experience developing and interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines under pressure.

Nice to have

  • Experience within a health care environment.
  • Experience working with faculty, staff, and students in a post-secondary institution.
  • Experience managing CUPE 2950 staff.
  • Knowledge of provincial health legislation and administrative systems.
