What you will do
- Define and standardize mathematical frameworks and best practices across all PlayDigital studios.
- Provide guidance and alignment to math and discipline leads without direct line management.
- Oversee mathematical implementation in both conversion and digital-first game development.
- Collaborate closely with GDK teams to ensure alignment between math models and platform capabilities.
- Establish standards for mathematician tools and contribute to their development.
- Monitor market trends and competitor products to ensure game math remains competitive.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry (online or land-based).
- Experience in lead or consulting roles within game mathematics or similar disciplines.
- Strong understanding of game math design, implementation, and performance drivers.
- Ability to influence and align multiple teams without direct authority.
- Must be based in the USA to be connected to the local entity.
