Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States. This is a hybrid / onsite position.

Salary: $56.70 – $65 per hour.

What you will do

• Prototype, implement, and own gameplay scenarios, narrative sequences, and interactive objects.
• Develop and maintain AI behaviors and core game mechanics.
• Collaborate with animation, programming, and art departments to produce necessary assets and code support.
• Work closely with lead designers and directors to act on feedback and iterate quickly.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of industry experience in Technical Design for games.
• Strong programming ability (Computer Science degree preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D math.
• Fluent in C++, C#, Lua, or other text-based scripting languages.
• Understanding of narrative principles and conveying emotion through gameplay.

Nice to have

• Experience developing third-person action games.
• Experience improving tools and workflows.
• Knowledge of behavior trees, melee, combat systems, and enemy/boss design.
