Staff Accountant (Entertainment)

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in El Segundo, California

What you will do

• Assist with month-end closing activities and review journal entries for General Ledger accuracy.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing and reconciliations.
• Organize foundational accounting data for newly integrated departments.
• Gather documentation and assist in responding to Information Document Requests (IDRs) for financial audits.
• Develop and maintain budgets while preparing reports comparing budgeted costs to actuals.
• Provide ad-hoc support for various accounting and finance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and corporate tax principles.
• Advanced Excel skills including XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to meet tight month-end deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or NetSuite.
• Active CPA license or progress toward certification.
• Understanding of the entertainment or digital content industry.
