What you will do

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical expertise to the production floor team.
• Support capital projects, including installing new equipment, modifying existing machinery, and optimizing plant layout.
• Execute continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, product quality, and efficiency while reducing waste.
• Utilize root cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, and statistical process control to diagnose and solve production issues.
• Create and maintain critical process documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of Lean fundamentals.
• Proficiency in office software for spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
• Ability to think critically about industrial processes and adhere to safety regulations.
• Must be able to work onsite in Germantown, WI (Monday – Friday).

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing engineering internship or co-op experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Solidworks software.
