Manufacturing Engineer (Water Technologies)

What you will do

• Provide daily engineering technical support for casting, machining, assembly, and valve testing.
• Design machinery, tools, and fixtures utilizing 3D solid modeling software.
• Lead kaizen teams to drive improvements in quality, productivity, and safety.
• Apply statistical methods to optimize process capability, repeatability, and first-pass yields.
• Research and manage capital equipment purchases to enhance manufacturing methods.
• Manage BOM routers and respond to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) within the ERP system.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with Solid modeling and CAD software.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Familiarity with SAP and routers.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Franklin, NH.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
• Working knowledge of CNC and conventional machining cutting tools.
• Hands-on experience with assembly and fabrication using basic mechanics tools.
• Experience with CNC programming (CAD/CAM) for milling and turning operations.
• Prior experience with the processing of castings and tool/fixture design.
