What you will do

• Lead deep-dive sessions with accounting domain partners to document high-quality accounting requirements.
• Act as a liaison between IT and finance/accounting functions to build an efficient and scalable accounting engine system.
• Lead the implementation of complex enterprise-wide projects impacting multiple lines of business.
• Build and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts.
• Provide strategic consultation to senior leadership on innovative business solutions.
• Identify compliance and risk management requirements and implement key risk initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• 7+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Risk Reporting.
• Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and multi-currency General Ledger ecosystems.
• Proven experience building large-scale financial banking system implementations.
• Experience using big data, cloud, or query data tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in SQL or Dremio.
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
