Business Analyst (Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Manufacturing): Modeling the link between business processes to transition to a Digital Enterprise with an accent on process mapping and optimization. Focus on identifying process gaps, optimizing flow, and mapping processes to roles, tools, and data flows.

Location: Onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. US Citizenship is strictly required.

Salary: $50.00 - $53.50/hr

What you will do

• Map business processes across cross-functional departments including engineering, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Create process maps and flowcharts to visualize activities, roles, responsibilities, and tool/software usage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business units to gather requirements and process information.
• Assess existing processes to identify waste, redundancies, and gaps to drive optimization.
• Design and deploy efficient business processes, including training staff and providing post-deployment feedback.
• Maintain process models within a configuration control environment and act as a subject matter expert for enterprise-wide digitalization.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and Residency required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant equivalent field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in business process modeling and improvement.
• Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with digitalization mapping tools such as Prime BPM.
• Experience leading Kaizen events.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of technical requirements and systems relevant to Combat Vehicles.
• 1+ years of Scrum/Agile management and knowledge of Agile metrics.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering and/or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with project management and structured problem solving techniques.
