TL;DR

Controller (Finance/Manufacturing): Managing financial oversight, accounting, and planning for a manufacturing facility with an accent on cost records, budgeting, and internal controls. Focus on driving business results through strategic partnership with site management and optimizing profitability.

Location: Fully onsite, 5 days a week in Franklin, NH

What you will do

  • Manage plant accounting, cost accounting, financial planning, and reporting responsibilities.
  • Partner with the Plant Manager to identify and measure ways for improving business profitability.
  • Develop and maintain accurate standard costs, product costing, and perform make/buy assessments.
  • Lead the development of annual operating plans and multi-year strategic plans.
  • Perform month-end financial close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Ensure financial records comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), GAAP, and internal company policies.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in finance or accounting within a manufacturing company.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial performance drivers, accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work on-site in Franklin, NH (Monday–Friday).

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, PowerBI, and Hyperion.
