What you will do

• Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation in AI-powered automation.
• Oversee the end-to-end development of the Ivy & Ocelot platform to deliver a data-driven engagement tool.
• Lead engineering efforts to maintain a unified chat inbox managing SMS, WhatsApp, Email, and Telephony.
• Ensure robust and secure integrations with Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and CRMs.
• Drive operational excellence by automating routine inquiries to reduce administrative burdens.
• Maintain strict adherence to compliance standards, including SOC2 Type 2, FERPA, GDPR, and HIPAA.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams, ideally within the EdTech or SaaS sectors.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML integration, API-based system architecture, and cloud-scale deployments.
• Ability to leverage predictive analytics and real-time reporting to guide institutional decision-making.
• Experience working with product and sales teams to deliver customizable and scalable solutions.
• Passion for using technology to identify at-risk students and improve educational outcomes.
