What you will do

• Prepare and file weekly certified payroll reports in compliance with US Department of Labor and local guidelines.
• Ensure company adherence to Davis-Bacon and related prevailing wage acts.
• Coordinate with HR and field timekeeping to verify hours, pay rates, and fringe benefits.
• Research and apply filing requirements for federal, state, and locally funded construction projects.
• Verify correct classification of construction craft workers for prevailing wage rates.
• Assist with general payroll processing and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2+ years of related payroll experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level).
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Experience in filing Certified Payroll reports.
• Knowledge of Federal WH-347 forms.
