Accounting Intern (Finance)

What you will do

• Process invoices and expense reimbursements in line with FP&A guidelines.
• Support month-end close, flux analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and manage bank activity.
• Conduct research on emerging accounting issues and new regulations to ensure compliance.
• Respond to financial requests from investors.

Requirements

• Familiarity with basic accounting concepts (relevant coursework in accounting, finance, or economics preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to drive efficiency.
• Ability to work onsite at the Alameda Headquarters.
• High degree of professionalism and integrity when dealing with confidential financial data.

Nice to have

• Experience with technology such as Sage or Coupa.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
