What you will do

• Support monthly and quarter-end GL close tasks and variance analysis for the Finance team.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, management reporting packages, and tax analysis.
• Perform account reconciliations, accounts payable processing, and GL research.
• Utilize Excel and AI tools like Copilot to streamline reporting and improve data analysis.
• Identify automation opportunities within the planning and month-end close processes.
• Prepare summaries and recommendations for finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3rd year college student or above pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
• Proficiency in Excel and a foundational understanding of financial statements.
• Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills.
• Must be based in California, USA.
• Strong interest in using AI and automation tools to improve productivity.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience in corporate finance, tax, budgeting, or financial analysis.
• Academic or project experience using Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI tools.
