What you will do

• Design and implement automated workflows for user provisioning, access management, and onboarding/offboarding across the SaaS stack.
• Build and maintain reliable integrations between enterprise systems using REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Implement and maintain automated IAM processes including RBAC and least-privilege enforcement for compliance.
• Automate ticket routing, lifecycle management, and CMDB updates within the ITSM platform.
• Develop automated controls and evidence collection pipelines to support SOC 2 and HIPAA audit requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in architecture and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco office (Hybrid)
• 5–8 years of experience in IT Engineering, IT Apps Development, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent modern scripting language for automation.
• Strong working experience with REST APIs and building reliable integrations.
• Hands-on familiarity with administering and automating SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Okta).
• Knowledge of IAM fundamentals, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and RBAC concepts, as well as SQL for database management.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow automation platforms like Workato, Zapier, or Okta Workflows.
• Familiarity with IaC tooling such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks or LLM-based automation tooling.
• Experience with JAMF, Fleet, or equivalent MDM platforms.
