What you will do

  • Balance technical leadership and execution with people management in a player/coach role.
  • Drive team impact by fostering high technical productivity and reliability.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape the technical roadmap and improve user experience.
  • Set and communicate clear team objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Lead hiring, development, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team.
  • Represent the team in engineering-wide planning and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA (as indicated by E-Verify and regional constraints).
  • Technical leadership experience managing teams of 3+ engineers.
  • Strong background in system design.
  • Proficiency in general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver complex web applications and services.
  • Experience making strategic decisions in fast-paced environments.
