Solutions Architect (Shopify)

What you will do

• Design and document end-to-end technical architecture for Shopify Plus stores including storefronts, backend services, and security.
• Architect complex integrations between Shopify and enterprise platforms like ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS, CRM, and CDP using REST and GraphQL.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
• Build custom Shopify applications and implement advanced functionality via Shopify Functions and Checkout Extensibility.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client executives including CTOs and CIOs.
• Partner with the Sales team on technical vetting, solution scoping, and effort estimation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce solution architecture or senior technical consulting.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Shopify platform, specifically Shopify Plus.
• Proven expertise in headless Shopify architectures including Hydrogen/Oxygen.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL) and modern web technologies (React/Next.js, TypeScript).
• Experience with MS Entity Framework and enterprise back-office system integrations.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and technical advisory.

Nice to have

• Shopify or relevant e-commerce platform certifications.
• Prior experience in re-platforming from legacy systems.
• Familiarity with backend languages such as Node.js or Ruby.
