Clinical Oncology Physician

What you will do

• Evaluate clinical trial funnels from patient identification and AI pre-screening through referral, screening, and enrollment.
• Diagnose enrollment blockers related to eligibility criteria, biomarkers, medical record availability, and market-specific limitations.
• Set eligibility and biomarker guidance for clinical operations, marketing, and provider engagement teams.
• Improve the clinical accuracy of patient matching and prioritization against trial protocols.
• Join sponsor meetings, internal trial kick-offs, operational planning sessions, and delivery reviews.
• Escalate clinical risks and enrollment blockers to company leadership.

Requirements

• Medical degree with direct clinical experience in oncology or hematology.
• Working knowledge of oncology clinical trial protocols, eligibility criteria, and biomarker testing.
• Ability to analyze funnels, dashboards, and enrollment reporting and convert findings into clinical explanations and action plans.
• Fluent English at a level suitable for leading clinical discussions with pharmaceutical sponsors.
• Comfort working in an entrepreneurial, build-mode environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in clinical research, patient recruitment, or trial operations at a sponsor, CRO, or research site.
• Familiarity with oncology treatment sequencing and precision medicine workflows.
• Experience working across multiple countries or markets.
• Working Portuguese.
