What you will do

• Collaborate on the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-availability backend services.
• Solve complex infrastructure problems and provide post-release support for core platform components.
• Enhance DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines through automation to streamline deployment.
• Drive technology design and articulate architectural solutions to product owners and leadership.
• Conduct post-mortems to analyze and prevent system failures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming experience in backend languages.
• 2+ years of experience with PHP (strongly preferred), Python, Go, or Java.
• 2+ years of experience with MySQL or similar database technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, database schema design, and caching.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
• DevOps experience and familiarity with Linux.
• Experience with full-stack observability tools such as New Relic.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
