Lead Business Architect (Healthcare)

TL;DR

Lead Business Architect (Healthcare): Developing and maintaining enterprise-level business process architecture, value streams, and capability roadmaps with an accent on aligning business strategy with technology platforms. Focus on business process re-engineering, gap analysis, and bridging the communication between business partners and IT.

Location: Must be a US Citizen. Hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA (Tue-Thu) for those within 50 miles; 100% remote for those beyond 50 miles.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain business process flows, value stream maps, and reference architectures across multiple product areas.
• Partner with Business Leads to create capability roadmaps based on industry research and business strategy.
• Lead business process re-engineering using industry best practices to address capability gaps.
• Collaborate with technical architects and project managers to ensure the operational implementation of new processes.
• Consult with other architectural teams to contribute to the overall Enterprise Architecture.
• Represent the organization to external vendors and assist in technology acquisition contract terms.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen due to contractual and access requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a Business/Systems Analyst role supporting systems platforms.
• 7+ years of experience with the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management, including risk and cost/benefit analysis.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Certified Business Architect (CBA) certification.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio for business process modeling.
