What you will do
- Develop and manage the product Master Production Schedule (MPS) within an outsourced manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate weekly material and production schedules with EMS partners to ensure execution against plan.
- Lead expediting activities to mitigate supply or production risks and communicate delivery commitments.
- Perform what-if analysis and rough-cut capacity planning to project shipment dates.
- Drive phase-in/phase-out and end-of-life component analysis for engineering and product changes.
- Implement supply chain process improvements to enhance agility and delivery reliability.
Requirements
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in material management, including material planning, sourcing, or EMS management.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and materials management standards.
- Experience with just-in-time principles such as Kanban, pull systems, VMI, or SMI.
- Proven ability to manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for data integrity.
- Ability to serve as the primary contact between scheduling, fulfillment, and EMS partners.
Nice to have
- APICS certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CIRM.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with Oracle ERP and business tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Informatica.
